SURVEY, FOCUS GROUP AND MEETING FACILITATION
Survey/Polling
Bates Consulting Services will design and implement survey instruments to conduct needs assessments, program evaluations, and social marketing research. The survey instrument may be a simple one-page form or a comprehensive set of questions designed for different audiences while researching the same topic. We are experienced in the design, implementation and analysis of various survey tools including mail, telephone and focus groups.
Focus Group Facilitation

Bates Consulting Services, as an unbiased party, can design and run a process that encourages people to work effectively together on the agenda. We have experience in helping groups get to know each other (through "ice-breaking" exercises), and will work with groups to set an agenda and ground rules, and then will direct and focus the discussion so that the agenda is accomplished.
MBE/WBE/DBE DEVELOPMENT AND OUTREACH
Sub-Contract Participation
Upon reviewing the scope of work and corresponding contract goals, Bates Consulting Services will assist in the development of MBE/WBE/DBE subcontract participation. Elements of this service include but not limited to:
- Identifying products, services and trade requirements that can be accomplished through MBE/WBE/DBE participation.
- Interfacing with subcontractors to encourage participation from qualified and certified firms.
